So you have booked a Cruise to St. Thomas and are looking for the best ways to enjoy this beautiful Caribbean island? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Here at CruiseExperts.com we are happy to help! We have featured our top 3 favorite adventures on the beautiful St. Thomas Island.
Scuba Dive, Snorkel, or Snuba: St. Thomas is known for its beautiful and vibrant coral which makes underwater adventure a must in St. Thomas! Scuba diving and snorkeling opportunities are abundant in St. Thomas and available from beginner to expert. If you are brand new at these types of underwater adventures you can even try snuba diving. I’ve never tried it myself but it is a for sure on my bucket list! It’s a cross between scuba diving and snorkeling, tours are available!
Magic Ice: A popular excursion for many in St. Thomas is the Magic Ice Gallery. If you love art and want to explore something different and unique, this is a great adventure for you!
Magic Ice features sculptures and creations made of ice and snow. Don’t worry, upon entering the gallery will provide you with clothing to keep you warm while you explore the amazing art features Magic Ice Gallery has to offer!
Coral World: Looking for some fun the whole family can enjoy? A cruise to St. Thomas isn’t complete without a trip to Coral World. Coral World is perfect for all ages and an amazing treat for everyone! There are tons of exhibits for not only for learning but play time. My personal favorite exhibit is the Undersea Observatory Tower located approximately 100 feet off the shore. This amazing tower takes you 15 feet below sea level and you don’t even have to get wet! This is a great way to see the beautiful coral and creatures off the coast of St. Thomas! And YES, it has air conditioning!
Another favorite of mine are the encounters! For the brave hearted you can even have an opportunity to touch a shark! Yep, I said it, you can touch a real honest to goodness shark! If that’s not a once in a lifetime opportunity, I don’t know what is! Plus, that’s not the only animal encounter you can partake in while in Coral World, there is seriously so much to do and a great way to spend your afternoon in St. Thomas!
